Wholesale Clothing Vendors for Boutiques: 59 LA Vendors by Category

Finding wholesale clothing vendors is easy. Finding the right ones for your boutique is where the time goes. This list is a shortcut: more than 50 women's wholesale clothing vendors from our directory, grouped by what they actually make, with the showroom each one works out of. Nearly all of them are in or near the Los Angeles Fashion District, where most U.S. boutique wholesale is designed and sold.
Every vendor name links to its full directory profile, which has contact details, categories and the website. Use this page to build a shortlist, then use the profiles to reach out.
How to use this list
- Start with your customer, not the vendor. Pick the two or three sections below that match what your shoppers actually buy, and shortlist 3–5 vendors in each.
- Ask every vendor the same questions: opening-order minimum, prepacks vs. open packs, reorder lead times, and payment terms. Our guide to choosing wholesale clothing vendors has the full checklist.
- Have your seller's permit ready. Most wholesale-only vendors will ask for it before they show pricing. See how to get a seller's permit for wholesale clothing.

Showrooms, marketplaces or both?
Most of the vendors above sell through an LA showroom and at least one online wholesale marketplace. If you can visit Los Angeles, a day at the San Pedro Wholesale Mart and the Crocker Street and 12th Street showrooms lets you touch the product and meet the sales reps. Our LA Fashion District brand guide covers the area. If you buy online, compare the platforms in FashionGo vs. Faire vs. OrangeShine before you commit.
Frequently asked questions
What is a wholesale clothing vendor?
A wholesale clothing vendor is a brand, manufacturer or distributor that sells clothing in bulk to retailers at wholesale prices, usually about half of the suggested retail price. Boutiques then resell those pieces at retail.
Do I need a license to buy from wholesale clothing vendors?
Most U.S. wholesale-only vendors ask for a seller's permit (also called a resale certificate) before they open an account or show pricing. It lets you buy inventory without paying sales tax on it. See how to get one.
Where are most wholesale clothing vendors for boutiques located?
Los Angeles is the center of U.S. boutique wholesale. Most vendors on this page have showrooms in the LA Fashion District, many of them in the San Pedro Wholesale Mart at 1100 S San Pedro St or along Crocker Street, Towne Avenue and 12th Street.
How many vendors should a new boutique start with?
Many new boutiques start with three to five core vendors: one or two for dresses and tops, one for basics and one for denim. They add accessories and specialty vendors once they know what sells.
How do I contact a vendor on this list?
